Section E1 serves Arrowmen throughout the great state of Indiana. The Section leadership consists of three youth leaders, advised by a team of adult advisers. The Section is responsible primarily to assist the Lodges of Section E1, serving all the Arrowman in Section E1, and providing training that focuses on the skills and attributes of leadership, and the Order of the Arrow.

Upcoming Events

Join Arrowmen from all across Indiana at the annual Section E1 OA Conclave! Nischa Chuppecat Lodge will host us this year at Camp Maumee.

Come and experience competition activities, great trainings, patch trading, patch auction, great meals, shows, fellowship and so much more! This event is open to all Arrowman in the Section and, at the end of the weekend, youth Arrowmen will have the opportunity to elect the next Section officers.

The National Leadership Seminar is a weekend conference teaching the skills and attributes of leadership. It is intended primarily to enhance the leadership skills of the Order of the Arrow’s key youth and adult members as they seek to improve their services to Scouting America and the greater community. The weekend format is designed to complement the longer, more detailed Wood Badge and National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) Programs. Near the end of the seminar, learners make a contract with themselves to apply the skills studied in the seminar on projects in their lodge, council, and community.

The Developing Youth Leadership Conference (DYLC) is a weekend conference for adult volunteers focusing on the skills, tools, and attributes of effective advisers. It is intended primarily to enhance an adviser’s knowledge of and connectivity with resources, while emphasizing personal skills that are essential to the development of effective youth leadership and ultimately the OA’s service to the council.
